Family Partnership

Dear Girl Scout parent,

As a fellow parent of a Girl Scout, I thank you for your commitment to our daughters! We are part of a fantastic organization that serves more than 42,000 girls including our own daughters. I know you join me in being grateful for the amazing leadership opportunities and adventures that our girls get to experience.

I have volunteered to serve as the Family Partnership Coordinator for our service unit for the third year and I believe passionately that our girls are worth our investment of both treasure and time. Currently, most of our council’s revenue comes from cookies and the $12 you paid for membership goes directly to Girl Scouts of the USA. Our local vision for our girls today is so much bigger than what cookies can sustain and therefore, I ask you to consider a significant investment in Girl Scouts. Just like your commitment to your church or your school, Girl Scouts too needs your help in a significant way.

As scouting families, you know that each dollar you give helps our girls through programs, financial assistance, camp improvements, and leadership development opportunities. And, if we meet our goals, those gifts come back to us at the service unit level for even more impact. You should have received a Family Partnership brochure from your troop leader or I welcome a call from you to answer any questions and to get you a gift card.

Also, you can give through your United Way donation through your workplace.  The code number to use is 0130 for the Dallas area.  Please be sure to give your leader a copy of the receipt so your donation can be recognized by our wonderful Service Unit 154.

Please join me in giving a personal gift through Family Partnership this year.  Your investment is welcome anytime.

                                                                                Yours in Girl Scouting,

                                                                                Ilene Isenberg
